Who taught you how to ride a bike?
My mommy! To be honest I don't remember it very well. But I do remember my bike... it was pink, of course.
Have you ever started a trend? Followed one?
Submitted by It's Raining Calculators.
I have been known to follow clothing trends. I do have tights and city shorts this season, after all.
I clearly the remember the first time I heard the phrase "my bad". I was in 8th grade, and it came from a fairly trendy fellow student, a funny and funky black girl. It was hysterical to me... although it never really caught on in my vocabulary. I like to borrow words and phrases, though.
If you were told you could relive a moment in your life, which would you choose?

It would probably be my high school graduation. That was a great, proud, stress-free, social, and confident time for me.
How do you beat writer's block?
Submitted by marvel is my pen name.
It seems obvious, but I read. Reading something from a good writer always inspires me.
If you could make a magic wish for a futuristic gadget or high-tech innovation, what would your item do?
Submitted by Red Pen.
It would absolutely COOK DINNER for me and my husband. And patiently teach me how to cook anything, too. Oh hell, just bring Paula Deen to my kitchen. ;)
You must have been a fashion victim at least once in your life. What hideous blunder did you commit?
Submitted by Tina.
Even as a little kid in the 80s, I had pretty fashionable clothing. Hmmm... well, one thing that I would never do again is the socks. Remember layering the neon-colored scrunchy socks? With the white LA Gear-esque tennis shoes. Ew.
How do you pass the time during a flight? What do you bring in your carry-on?
On my last flight (about a week ago), I had my camera, my mp3 player, and a magazine. I almost always listen to music when flying, and if I'm flying United, it's channel 9 (air traffic control) all the way.
I used to bring all of my toiletries in my carry-on, but obviously that doesn't happen anymore. So these days I typically bring eye drops and Chapstick.
You're trapped in a (temporarily) out of order elevator - who would you like to be trapped with?
Submitted by tbtissimus.
I would like to be trapped with Condoleezza Rice. I think she is amazing and I have a head full of questions to ask her.
My second choice would be Josh Groban. :)
Have you ever been cheated on? Ever cheated?
Submitted by Joe.
Not that I am aware of. And no. :)
In which fictional world/universe/land/city would you most like to live?
Submitted by glenn is the new chuck.
This is my husband's answer. He says: "Star Trek. Replicators can make any food instantly. Holodecks can put you in any situation you want, so you can do anything. And there are safeties so you won't get hurt if you don't want to."
